Steph definitely has a story to tell, a story that resonates with so many people that feel lost and confused to weight loss and healthy living. Steph was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) at the age of 15. Not really understanding what that meant for the future, Steph continued to gain weight despite many different diets and training protocols, topping the scale at 300lbs.
Being diagnosed with hypertension, insulin resistance, hypothyroidism and unable to receive invasive forms of fertility treatments due to morbid obesity and topping the BMI charts at nearly 50, Stephanie decided to have a vertical sleeve gastrectomy (VSG) done in 2016.
After losing 160lbs, Stephanie was so invested in creating a lifestyle that will sustain that weight loss for years to come. As a decade long critical care nurse specializing in heart surgery and heart failure, she knew the implications of not only remaining morbidly obese but gaining all of the weight back she lost. Stephanie devoted her body and mind to fitness, becoming a certified personal trainer & fitness nutritional specialist, coaching and providing support to other men & women who wanted help developing a lifestyle tailored to their goals.
