ABOUT ME

Derek – Head Coach & Founder, LOUD Performance Training

I’ve been coaching for over 17 years and started LOUD Performance Training back in 2010. Since then, I’ve helped all kinds of people - men, women, athletes, and everyday folks - reach their fitness goals.

I specialize in contest prep for Masters and Natural competitors, non-competitive bodybuilding, and full-body transformations. I’ve helped hundreds of athletes step on the national stage, and I’m proud to have coached clients to earn both Natural and IFBB Pro cards.

Whether you're training for a show or just want to look and feel your best, I build custom plans that match your pace and lifestyle. My top priority is always your overall health and metabolic strength - because that’s what leads to lasting results.

Coaching started naturally for me. People saw the effort I put into my own prep and started asking for help. That passion turned into LOUD Performance Training - where "Live Out Ur Dreams" is more than just a saying.

I hold a Master’s in Exercise Physiology, I’m a Certified Personal Trainer, and I’ve competed as a Natural Pro and NPC Overall Champion. I bring both science and real-life experience to every plan I create.

I believe coaching works best when it’s a team effort. I’ll bring the knowledge and support - you bring consistency and communication. Together, we’ll get results.

Outside the gym, I’m a bit of an introvert. I recharge by surfing, hanging with my dogs, and traveling the world - from Mexico to Machu Picchu. I love working with clients from all walks of life and from anywhere in the world.
